Hello. My name is Ali Showkati.
I am the creator, writer, and artist of the online graphic novel Spaghetti Strap Western. SSW is a one-shot story structure spanning twelve chapters. I update one pager a week, every week, on Saturdays.
Spaghetti Strap Western is a sci-fi fantasy western that takes place in the U.S.A. in the year 2152. The Story follows two women with a mysterious bounty on their heads, as they adventure across the country, trying to figure out who is after them, and why.
I have also co-founded a webcomic collective with my good friend Joenis Norac, known as TNP Press (formerly The Noir Project). It started with two webcomics, which incidentally aren’t active anymore. We have quickly gained many members and are going strong. Our crowning achievement as a collective so far, has been our acceptance into APE (Alternative Press Expo) this October.
