I thought over the decision to phonetically write out Tico’s accent for quite a while. I discovered that it actually slows down the reader a bit because you don’t read words that you can’t recognize, as fast as you would everyday words. Bringing the “Graphic” to the “Graphic Novel.” Here we get our first costume change. I just think it helps ground things more in reality. Oh, and the reason i used a blue call-out in the last panel is to signify that its someone else, other than our two heroines.

Finally you guys get to see the samurai from the concept art way back when. I really like the way I incorporated the chapter title. Also the Yamaha YZF-R1 is now the unofficial motorcycle of SSW.
