I really like the way this page came out. Funny enough, the freeway sign is my favorite part of this. I love the present day version of this sign. I remember being amazed at how unnecessarily huge it was. I have since been unable to find the exact sign since (via Google Maps & Earth). I think it’s actually south of LA on Northbound 101, which wouldn’t work into the geography of the scene anyways.
There currently isn’t a sign like the one I’ve drawn, north of LA, on Northbound 101. So, the sign is fictional, hehe. My explanation, they will build one in the future

I’ve been envisioning this scene for a long time now. It’s an awesome feeling to see something you thought up randomly fit so nice and neat into the story.
